Listening Is Good For You
Yes, I've said this before, but here is more information about my audiobooks and the narrators.
Samples of all my audiobooks can be heard on Audible.
Secrets Of The Ice #3 The Avalon Trilogy
I never thought anyone would want to narrate the epic fantasy series, The Avalon Trilogy, but Arden has actually narrated two of them!

What a superb job, too.
Thank you, Arden
Invasion #2 The Avalon Trilogy
The Star Realm #1 The Avalon Trilogy
Melanie Fraser
A Murderer's Heart was my first audiobook and thanks to Melanie Fraser, it was less traumatic that it could have been.
Well, no, traumatic isn't really the correct word, but it was a steep learning curve, however, due to Melanie's friendly and professional approach, it was far easier to understand the many pitfalls, thus producing an audiobook that not only brings my story 'alive' but also it's produced to a high standard.
Melanie has an amazing voice - English, calm and distinct - perfect for my murder mystery set in England.
I usually pick English narrators because they suit my stories - and being English myself I prefer to hear them in my native tongue. Although I have picked American narrators for other stories, as I do write in a variety of genres and styles.
In addition to A Murderder's Heart, Melanie has also narrated two further books for me - Misadventures Of Fatwoman and Dirty Business and I am extremely pleased with the results.
Thank you, Melanie!
Linda narrated one of my fantasy books called, Of Sound Mind, and did a wonderful job with Jorja's 'voice' (it is a first person narrative) as well as with the additional cast - male, female and fantasy characters.
Again, I was lucky to find someone friendly and professional....and, I know it was a steep learning curve for her, too.
Linda Roper
Thank you, Linda!
Don Warrick
Don has a fantastic American accent. perfect for my darker stories.
13 is a horror and Don is a master at instilling the suspence, mystery and 'evil' - yes, Don, that is a complement!
Figments is a collection of contemporary short stories and poems - brilliantly performed by Don.
Lost Shadows is a psychological thriller /fantasy. Don's talent for injecting personality into the many characters - and that chill factor - makes for a compelling 'listen' to this story.
Christmas Past is a short story in the science-fiction genre. Again, Don does a brilliant job.
Thank you, Don
Alan Weyman
Alan has a distinct and unique English accent, which is perfect for Henry - the star of my paranormal 'Weird' series.
Weird 1, 2 & 3 are now available as audiobooks thanks to Alan Weyman
Alan also did an amazing job of narrating another collection of contemporary short stories and poems - Expressions.
Thank you, Alan
Nancy Peterson
Finding someone to narrate Gone was difficult because it will always be my most important book.
It was the first story I'd kept, one that was written due to what happended to my daughter.
It is a fantasy, yet is so much more...
Nancy did a fantastic job!
Nancy has a beautiful and distinct voice, whose English accent adapts superbly to this story, which contains a mixture of truth, fantasy, grief and hope...and a tinge of humour.
Thank you, Nancy
Phil Mayes
I've been so lucky to find such fabulous narrators for my stories and Phil Mayes' voice was perfect for Three Into One - a short science fiction story, which focuses upon difference.
Phil is also a friendly and professional narrator - what a wonderful job!
Thank you, Phil
Knowing Jack is a mystery adventure, which takes place in the Lake District, England around Christmas.
Its target audience is 12+ /YA /young at heart, and Joel did an amazing job with its narration.
The way Joel takes on each and every character is superb and his talent for storytelling is mindblowing.
You'll love listening to this exciting story.
Joel Froomkin
Thank you, Joel
More about Joel...
Joel also designed the audiobook cover for Knowing Jack
Maddie Baylis
Slings & Arrows is my only non-fiction book and was the most difficult to write.
It is a brutally honest account of what happended to my daughter, Samantha.
Maddie's narration was both professional and sensitive.
She did a wonderful job.
Thank you, Maddie
Lorraine Ansell
A short story brought alive by Lorraine Ansell. Her voice was just right for this post-apocalyptic fantasy.
Again (aren't I lucky?) another friendly and professional narrator.
Thank you, Lorraine
Sybil did a delightful job of narrating this short story about Prudence Willowfig and her adventures.
She has a beautiful and clear English voice and was perfect for this story.
And yes, there may be further tales.
I think this is Sybil's first voice over for books and I'm sure she'll do well with many more.
Sybil Johnson
Thank you, Sybil
